Marty Stasi and his family experienced what every business owner fears most — their business of 57 years burned to the ground. With their lives in turmoil, they turned to their insurance adjuster for help.

What they quickly realized was they were on their own. It was clear that their adjuster was not looking out for their best interests.

“We were given no guidance with regard to who and how to perform the cleanup. No guidance with regard to how to prepare the contents lists,” Marty Stasi said. “It became clear that we were on our own.”

After receiving many calls from public adjusters, the Stasi’s were convinced to reach out to Chuck Sorrell. Within days, the Stasi’s met with Chuck and worked out a plan.

On July 22, 2017, an appraisal hearing was held. To the Stasi’s delight, the hearing more than doubled their original settlement from the insurance company.

“I go back to the best advice I was given from the beginning: Do not go through this alone,” Marty said. “The amount of work and expert guidance that we were given was more than we could have expected.”
